Comment Policy in Detail
This blog is intended for New Christian women and those interested in Swedenborgian Christianity and we have tailored our comment process accordingly. By commenting, a user implies that she is a woman and that she respects the Sacred Scriptures and the works of Emmanuel Swedenborg.
All comments are sent to the Blog Manager for review before being posted. We will strive to review and post comments in a timely manner.
“If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone” (Matthew 18:15). If a reader is critical of the writer herself (as opposed to the ideas expressed in the article), we believe that those words should be spoken privately, and directly to the writer–not in a public setting. We will not publish personal criticisms.
No comment deemed uncharitable to the neighbor or disrespectful to God, His Commandments or His revelation will be posted. While we hope this blog to display diversity in the ways we women apply the Word and Heavenly Doctrines to our lives, we recognize the three essential elements of the New Christianity are non-negotiable: (1)faith in the Lord God Jesus Christ, (2)respect for the authority of the Word, and (3)a life according to the Ten Commandments (Apocalypse Revealed 490 and Divine Providence 259). Comments that negate or criticize these essentials may be taken down.
